Orientation Programme of Pratigya Committee Report

The orientation programme was organised by Pratigya Committee on 19th October 2022 at 12:00 P.M. Around 300 students attended the programme. The programme was organised to provide information about the Pratigya Committee (Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee) to all first-year students of GIHSM. Pratigya Committee Coordinator has explained the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act. She informed the students that this act is an extension of the Vishakha Guidelines issued by the Supreme Court in 1997. She informed the students about the committee and introduced the committee members to the Students. Students were asked to notify the committee immediately if they encountered any harassment issues. The committee will take strict action after a proper investigation.
