Report of one day camp on the occasion of International Women’s Day (8th March, 2022) conducted at Goel Institute of Higher Studies Mahavidyalaya, Lucknow.

Women’s Day is celebrated around the globe. It depicts women’s social, economic, cultural, and political achievements. It is the day to celebrate women’s achievements, raise awareness about women’s equality, lobby for accelerated gender parity, and fundraise for female-focused charities. It is a day when women are recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political. The campaign theme for International Women’s Day 2022 is #Break The Bias. Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to advance.
Women’s Day was celebrated by the NSS Unit of GIHS Mahavidyalaya in Goel Plex on 8th March 2022. The chief guest was Ms Rashi (RJ, Radio City 91.1). She was honoured by Dr Santosh Pandey (Principal). She addressed the students and focused on the equality and achievements of women in the area of science, economy, politics, society etc. She motivated the female students with various examples to decide on a goal in life and to achieve it. An excellent motivational speech was given by Dr Santosh Pandey (Principal).
