Goel Institute of Higher Studies Mahavidyalaya in its endeavour of imparting quality education to all classes of society has achieved another milestone by organizing a 2 week Faculty Development Programme. The FDP was organized in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India. The programme was sponsored by National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.

The FDP started on 13 th January, 2020 with a welcome speech by Dr. Santosh Pandey, Principal, GIHSM. Later, Er. Mahesh Agrawal, MD, Goel Group of Institutions, spoke about the vision and mission of the college. He also told about the necessity and benefits of the FDP programmes.

In the first session of the FDP, the members of EDII explained about the purpose of the FDP. They also discussed about various topics to be covered and issues to be dealt with during the FDP. Faculty members from different colleges and different streams attended the programme. The lectures were taken by experts from different fields. For real life experience and thorough understanding of the issues, faculties were also taken on an industrial visit.
