INTRODUCTION:

The cultural committee of GIHSM the college works with the objective of developing the academic and cultural talents of the students, improving their capabilities to work as a team and raising their level of self-confidence in interacting with fellow students and peers.Thecollege has very active and enthusiastic cultural Circle managed by students themselves under the guidance of faculty members. This Circle serves as a platform for enhancing and exposing the often hidden talents and skills of the students in various fields.It is a team event entirely organized by the college management &students. It helps in developing a spirit of teamwork, enhancing the leadership and organizing qualities and inculcating a sense of responsibility besides sheer entertainment for the students. The students actively participate in various extra curricular activities including Music, Poetry, Dance, Theatre, Art
& Craft Exhibitions, Sports etc. conducted by our institution.

AIM:
Along with studies a young mind which becomes tired very early from monotonous life and daily activities needs freshness and mental health for preparation of coming life. Our cultural committee ofGIHSM takes care for that unsaid part which is the biggest issue for
upcoming generation living under pressure of studies and duties towards their families. Putting all the young buds away from all the mental hocus pocus we keep on organising events after events for students according to their talent capability and imagination of what they are and what they actually want to be. This gives a boost to their physical and mental both appearances. The grand event NAVAL, YOUTH FESTIVAL, INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY,GANDHI JAYANTI, ORIENTATION PROGRAMME, DANDIYA NIGHT, CHILDREN’S DAY,SPORT’S DAY and FRESHER’S PARTY are few of the events from the long list of ourGIHSM cultural committee.

VISION:
Our college GIHSM has a fore sight about life of a young student that he or she should not fail out side the college campus when it comes to face a realistic world without any back support. We try to develop and provide a proper training to the young fellow for future challenges of life. Cultural activities give sharpness to the any human’s nature as well as develops brain, vision, thoughts, emotions and above all feeling of humanity in their day to day life.

MISSION:
GIHSM takes the initiative that not a single student should left behind, everyone should get involved to make their own decisions, take responsibility and learn how to participate organise any fest or event and give each other a hand of support and help together like a family. Whenever any cultural event is announced an atmosphere of joy and activeness can be seen and felt clearly between the students. The enthusiasm should be high always not only for college life but for the rest of the life too.

OBJECTIVES OF THE COMMITTEE:
 To promote and arrange extracurricular activities to bring out the talent of students in the performing arts.
 To contribute in developing the artistic talents of students by giving them a platform at GIHSMas well as public too.
 To screen the talent of each and every student and allow them to participate in the competitions according to their capability and skills and many more.
