Industrial Visit to Britannia Industries Limited

B.Com Hons department of GIHSM had organized an industrial visit to Britannia Industries Limited on March 2, 2024 for students of 6th semester of B.Com. (Hons.) at Barabanki. We started traveling from the college campus at 10:00 a.m. via our college bus. A total of 35 students, along with Dr. Shivani Kalra (HOD , B.Com Hons ) and Ms. Jayantika Yadav (Coordinators, B.Com Hons ) were there on the visit.
The student arrived at Britannia Industries Limited around 11:00 a.m. After that, students gathered at the front gate and then settled in the presentation room. At first, Ms. Anushka Pathak nicely gave an introduction to the company profile and process of biscuit manufacturing.
Student have been told that Britannia biscuits are produced by the following process:
1. Pre Mixing
2. Mixing
3. Molding
4. Baking
5. Cooling
6. Quality Control
7. Packing
After that, the students visited different sections of the Britannia plant. Students visited the manufacturing as well as packing and dispatching functions of Britannia Students viewed the manufacturing facilities &understood the steps taken to deliver the quality product. The visit concluded with a vote of thanks to the industry officials.
